DOUGLAS COUNTY- A Fort Riley woman was injured in an accident just before 2:30a.m. on Sunday in Douglas County.
The Kansas Turnpike Authority reported a Ford pickup driven by Michelle A. Valdebenito-Harris, 20, Fort Riley, was on the Kansas Turnpike ten miles east of Topeka.
The pickup hit two deer.
Valdebenito-Harris was transported to a hospital.
She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KTA.
