MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Joseph Brown, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on December 20, 2016, at approximately 8:10 AM. Brown was arrested on a Riley C
ounty District Court warrant for failure to appear. Brown’s bond was set at $5,000.00. Brown was not confined at the time of this report.
Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 800 block of S. Seth Child Rd. on December 20, 2016 at approximately 11:15 AM. David Guzman, 41, of Fort Riley, Kansas, was listed as a victim when an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and took Guzman’s Apple iPhone 6 Plus and a diaper bag with miscellaneous items. Guzman indicated the incident occurred on December 19, 2016 between 6:12 PM and 6:20 PM. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $550.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
