Riley County Arrests December 6

The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.  Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.  Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MANHATTAN, KAN. – 


Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for the offense of forgery in the 200 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. on December 5, 2016 at approximately 12:10 Image may be NSFW.

PM. Officers listed Community First National Bank as a victim when a suspect altered a check’s name and total amount. The total loss associated with this crime was approximately $3960.00.

Officers filed a report for the offense of aggravated burglary in the 1500 block of Pierre St. on December 5, 2016 at approximately 5:30 PM (crime reported as occuring on  December 3, 2016). Officers listed Nicholas Uremovich, 24, of Manhattan, as the victim after a black Dell laptop, a Roku streaming device, and other miscellaneous items were taken from his residence without his permission. The total estimated loss is listed as approximately $560.00 and currently suspect(s) are unknown. Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
