MANHATTAN — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a pair of thefts involving vehicles.
Just after 6:30a.m. Wednesday, police filed a report for theft from a motor vehicle in the 300 blcok of Northfield Rd. in Manhattan, according to the RCPD activity report.
A 28-year-old woman of Manhattan reported an unknown supsect took money from her. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500.00.
Just before 2p.m. police filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 400 block of Yuma St. in Manhattan, according to the activity report. A victim reported an unknown suspect took a 2009 Grey Nissan Maxima from him. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,000.00.
Police ask that anyone with information on either case should contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
