The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police. Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further. Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MANHATTAN, KAN. – Police arrested Dustin Ingram, 27, of Manhattan on October 24, 2016, at approximately 8:20 PM while in the 1000 block of Leavenworth Street. Ingram was arrested on a warrant for the offense of aggravated battery with a bond of $10,000.00. This warrant stemmed from an incident in August of this year. At the time of this report, Ingram w
as not confined at the Riley County Jail.
Evan Megaw, 38, of Ogden, Kansas was arrested while in the 100 block of N. 4th Street in Manhattan on October 24, 2016, at approximately 5:45 PM. Megaw was arrested on the offense of probation violation which was listed on a warrant with a bond of $5,000.00. The original offense was listed as conspiracy to commit theft. At the time of this report, Megaw was confined at the Riley County Jail.
RCPD arrested Michael Agnew, 36, of Manhattan on October 25, 2016, at approximately 2:30 AM while in the 2500 block of Brockman Street. Agnew was arrested on the offense of failure to appear (X2) which was listed on two warrants with original offenses of driving while under to influence of alcohol and/or drugs (X2). At the time of this report, Agnew was confined at the Riley County Jail on a bond of $6,000.00.
