Manhattan Town Center gives $3,500 to area schools

Manhattan Town Center extends a warm thank you to parents, teachers, family and friends for supporting area schools during the 2016 Grand for Grade Schools Contest!  Every dollar spent at Manhattan Town Center in the month of August was worth one point to the elementary school of a customer’s choice.  The top ten schools with the most points at the end of the contest qualify for a cash donation from Manhattan Town Center.  Congratulations to the 2016 Grand for Grade Schools contest top ten winners:

 

1st place: Manhattan Catholic ($1,000)

2nd place: Marlatt ($800)manhattan town center

3rd place: St. George ($600)

4th place: Riley County ($400)

5th place: Wamego Central ($200)

6th place: Amanda Arnold ($100)

7th place: Northview ($100)

8th place: Lee ($100)

9th place: Chapman ($100)

10th place: Flint Hills Christian ($100)

 

“We’re pleased to continue this one-of-a-kind program, now in its thirteenth year of supporting area elementary schools,” said Jeff Sutton, Manhattan Town Center Marketing Manager.

 

This fall, Carmike Cinemas with IMAX will open its 13-screen theater at Manhattan Town Center. Also opening is Blue Moose Bar & Grill, based in Kansas City, Missouri.
