Update: Denison/Claflin intersection will not open until Wednesday, July 5, due to weather conditions impeding the ability to get the intersection ready for traffic.
The City anticipates opening 3/4 of the Denison/Claflin intersection July 5. Only the south leg of the intersection will remain closed. Traffic on Claflin will be allowed with no restrictions at that time.
The project is progressing quickly to the south, which means the road closures are also advancing that direction. Starting Thursday, access to Denison from Anderson Avenue will be restricted. St. Isidore’s Catholic Student Center and K-State Alumni Association parking will be the only allowed traffic north of Anderson. This is expected to last 2 weeks.
