Q Country 103.5 December Teacher of the Month!

The December winner of Q Country’s Teacher of the Month contest is Ms. Allison Dillon from Ogden Elementary.

The student who nominates their winning teacher gets a pizza party from Little Caesar’s and treats from Freddy’s Frozen Custard for the class, while the teacher of the month receives a variety of gifts including $250 from Thrivent Financial to spend in the classroom.

“So many of the teachers buy the supplies and materials out of their own pocket,” said USD 383 Superintendent Marvin Wade. “In this case Ms. Dillon can use this money instead of some of her money for a change. So I know that will mean a lot to her, especially at this time of year with the Christmas holiday right around the corner.”

Ms. Dillon says she already has something in mind that will put the money to good use.

“We usually have a grant that provides snacks to the students; a healthy food choice for them in the afternoons,” said Ms. Dillon. “For some reason that hasn’t been happening and all my kids have been really distraught about not getting it. Well we could maybe get a months worth of something for that much money to come in and have it every day so that they’re not missinImage may be NSFW.
