RILEY COUNTY – Just after 7 a.m. on Friday, Riley County was placed in an emergency reporting phase after numerous accidents occurred on Interstate 70, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol
Under the emergency reporting phase, those involved in non-injury accidents should take down the other driver’s information, remove vehicles from the road and report the incident within 48 hours.
Officials say the emergency reporting phase will last until at least 1 p.m.
