MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for theft and computer unlawful acts on December 8, 2016 at approximately 5:10 PM in the 300 block of Southwind Pl. TMobile was listed as a victim when a suspect credited several recalled phones to their personal account, and used a work computer to do so. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $9090.00.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property on December 9, 2016 at approximately 3:35 AM in the 1900 block of Leavenworth St. Stephen Saroff was listed as a victim when a suspect began pounding on the door and demanding to be let in, damaging a historic front door and a screen door in the process. Edward Toby, 22, of Manhattan, was issued a Notice to Appear for criminal damage to property. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00.
