Several historic Fort Riley sites and homes will open to the public for the 33rd year during the annual “Tour of Homes” Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The tour, organized by the Historical and Archaeological Society of Fort Riley, will include eight homes, the Custer House, Main Post Chapel and St. Mary’s Chapel.Image may be NSFW.

The tour is self-guided and self-paced; maps are provided at the Custer House. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Friends of the Fort Riley Museums gift shop on Fort Riley,
Magnolia’s Boutique in Junction City and at Gatherings at 3 Thirteen in Manhattan. They can also be purchased online at https://squareup.com/store/HASFR. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $12 on the day of the event (available for purchase at the Custer House).
“Tour of Homes” is open to people age 12 and older. The event is open to the public; however, those without a Department of Defense ID card need to stop at the Henry Gate visitor center to get a pass. Details can be found online at http://www.riley.army.mil/.
