The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police. Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
MANHATTAN, KAN. – Police in Riley County arrested Kody Nations, 23, of Ogden, Kansas while at 100 Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan on November 8, 2016, at approximately 1:20 PM. Nations was arrested on the offense of probation violation which was listed on a warrant with a bond of $5,000.00. This warrant had an original offense of possession wit
h intent to distribute methamphetamine. At the time of this report, Nations was confined at the Riley County Jail.
RCPD arrested Sarah Burns, 33, of Wamego, Kansas on November 8, 2016, at approximately 2:05 PM while at the Riley County Police Department. Burns was arrested on the offense of failure to appear which was listed on a warrant from Allen County, Kansas which had “no bond.” At the time of this report, she was confined at the Riley County Jail.
Carmen Johnson, 34, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on November 8, 2016, at approximately 5:35 PM. Johnson was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear which originated in Jackson County, Missouri. This warrant had “no bond” and at the time of this report, Johnson was confined at the Riley County Jail.
