RILEY COUNTY —The fall weekend storm provided significant moisture for Riley County and most of northeast Kansas. The majority of Riley County residents reported .50-.85 inches of rain over the past 24-hours. Similar amounts were reported in Geary, Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee County. Clay County residents reported 1.25 inches or moisture.
A flood watch continues for Riley County and most of the region through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 90 percent chance for additional rain through Tuesday night and a chance for partly sunny skies on Wednesday.
