WABAUNSEE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Sunday in Wabaunsee County.

The Kansas Highway patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Express cargo van driven by John R. Hall, 73, Northport AL., was westbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Wamgo-Alma exit.
The driver experienced a medical issue, drove off the roadway and collided with a metal guardrail in the median. Hall was transported to the hospital in Topeka.
He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
