MANHATTAN, KAN. – Officers with the Riley County Police Department are investigating a report of motor vehicle theft in the 2400 block of Vaughn Drive in Manhattan. Police found that between October 8, 2016, and October 9, 2016, a 1997 purple Toyota Corolla belonging to Bailey Poe, 20, of Hays, Kansas was taken without permission. This vehicle was left unsecured with keys inside and officers found no sign of forced entry. The total estimated loss was listed as being $3,000.00 and currently not arrests have been made or citations issued.
