ree-story apartment building with smoke showing from the front of the structure. The fire was contained within 15 minutes. A total of 18 firefighters responded on 6 fire apparatus.
The structure received an estimated loss of $20,000 to the structure and $5,000 to contents. Occupants in three of the apartments have been displaced due to the fire. The owner is listed as Brent Riffel of Manhattan, Kansas. The fire cause is under investigation at this time.
