POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY— A Kansas man avoided injury during a rough landing just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Pottawatomie County
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1972 Bellanca single-engine airplane piloted by Robert Davies, 57, Wamego, was airborne and attempting a landing at the city of Wamego airport.
The landing gear did not come down. The pilot was forced to make a belly landing. He was not injured.
