RILEY COUNTY —Another spring storm provided substantial rainfall to many areas of Kansas Tuesday. Most of Riley County missed out on the big moisture totals. Residents reported from .45 to .78 inches of rain over the past 24 hours.
Clay County reported from an inch to nearly 2 inches of rainfall. Similar amounts are reported in Pottawatomie County and Wabaunsee County.
Geary County received a trace to .19 inches of moisture.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night and a 20 percent chance Thursday.
