RILEY COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 9:30a.m. Wednesday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Honda Motorcycle driven by Jeremy R. Scott, 31, Junction City, was eastbound on Kansas 18 eleven miles northeast of Manhattan, traveling with a convoy of motorcycles.
The group came to an abrupt stop. Scott lost control when he hit the brake. He tried laying the motorcycle down to keep from hitting any other vehicles and was ejected from the Honda.
Scott was transported to Via Christi in Manhattan. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
