RILEY COUNTY — Wednesday’s spring storm brought much needed rain to many areas of the state.
Residents in Riley, Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee County reported .87- to more than 1.5 inches of moisture, according to the National Weather Service.
Geary County received from . 75 to 1 inch of rain.
The National Weather service forecast says there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in Riley County Thursday afternoon and a 20 percent chance Sunday.
