POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Wednesday in Pottawtomie County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Gary Wayne Hodges, 62, St. George, was southbound on Kansas 99 just north of Louisville Road.
The SUV’s right front tire left the roadway. The driver over-corrected causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll.
Hodges was transported to KU Medical Center. A passenger Hodges, Mathias Henry Hodges, 14, St. George, was transported to the hospital in Wamego. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
