SALINE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating two teens on felony charges.
Two Fort Riley runaways were found in a stolen sport utility vehicle in Salina.
Just before 9:30 a.m. Friday, police were sent to the Pilot Travel Center, 1944 North Ninth in Salina, according to Police Captain Bill Cox.
Officers found a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl in possession of a 2006 Honda CRV that was reported stolen from Fort Riley.
Cox said that the teens were runaways from Fort Riley. The SUV was valued at $3,500.
The teens were taken into custody for felony possession of stolen property.
