MANHATTAN —A 400 pound food donation and $390 in cash donations were delivered to the Flint Hills Breadbasket Friday.
The delivery included a challenge to other regional organizations to beat it.
The Flint Hills Breadbasket is located at 905 Yuma Street in Manhattan.
Their mission is “to minimize hunger and poverty through the distribution of available food and to nurture projects that will help alleviate hunger and poverty.”
