The girls finalists were determined Monday at Bramlage Coliseum in the 2017 Hoop Holler N’ Shoot free throw contest. Four girls from a field of eleven in each division go on to shoot in the finals of the girl’s competition on December 5 th at the K-State vs. SC Upstate men’s game.
The four finalists are:

Alle Cat Strout, Amanda Arnold, 6 th grade. . . hitting 1 of 7 shots.
Adaly Espinoza, Bergman, 6 th grade…hitting 3 of 7 shots. Navaeh Goodridge-Zellous, 5 th grade…hitting 1 of 7 shots.
Grace Ehmke, 6 th grade…hitting 3 of 7 shots.
Other girl school champions that did not make the cut for finals are:

Hoop Holler N’ Shoot, a program of the Little Apple Optimist Club, is a free throw contest for 5 th and 6 th graders in the Manhattan area grade schools. A boy and girl champion is determined at each school. The grade school champions move onto the semi-finals and finals held at Kansas State University basketball games. Over 940 students participated in the school competitions.
