The Oak Ridge Boys will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in McCain Auditorium. Tickets are available at the McCain Auditorium box office, by calling 785-532-6428, or online at k-state.edu/mccain.

The group includes Duane Allen, lead singer; Joe Bonsall, tenor; William Lee Golden, baritone; and Richard Sterban, bass. Hits by the Oak Ridge Boys include the country-pop chart-topper “Elvira, as well as “Bobbie Sue,” “Dream On,” “Gonna Take A Lot of River” and many others.

The group has scored 12 gold, three platinum and one double platinum album — plus one double platinum single — and has had more than a dozen national No. 1 singles and more than 30 Top Ten hits.

Each member of the Oak Ridge Boys has distinguished individual accomplishments: Bonsall and Sterban were enshrined in the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame in 1994; Golden became a member of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 1997; and Allen entered the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
