Leaders in education from around the state filled the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center Monday morning for the inaugural Kansans Can and DO Symposium.
The symposium is a collaborative effort between the Kansas State Department of Education and the Kansas Association of Education Service Agencies designed to provide practical solutions and creative approaches to leading the world in the success of each student. Designed for administrators and administrative teams, the Kansan’s Can Symposium seeks to assist Kansas school leaders in the process of implementing the Kansan’s Can initiative.
Those in attendance will learn from Kansas school districts that are already implementing programs that align with the Kansans Can initiative, as well as collaborate with administrative teams from districts across the state to plan for the upcoming year.
The symposium will conclude on Tuesday.
