RILEY COUNTY – A Riley County teen was injured in an accident just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Cade Schanks, 16, Randolph, was northbound on U.S. 77 four miles south of Randolph. The vehicle crossed into the west ditch. The driver lost control of vehicle and it overturned.
Schanks was transported to Via Christi. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
