Riley County Arrests July 19

The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police.  Some names, addresses, and case details are withheld to follow local, state, and federal law as well as in an attempt to protect community members from being victimized further.  Those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Colorado St. on July 17, 2017 at approximately 11:40 AM. Officers listed Krystle Williams, 28, of Manhattan, as the victim when she reported that a known suspect damaged her vehicle. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00.

Mouhamadou Wilane, 41, of Leonardville, Kansas, was arrested in the 3100 block of Dickens Ave. on July 17, 2017 at approximately 12:40 PM. Wilane was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation, as well as for interference with law enforcement. Wilane’s total bond was set at $7,000.00. Wilane was not confined at the time of this report.

Justin Bulk, 25, of Leonardville, Kansas, was arrested in the 100 block of Courthouse Plz. on July 17, 2017 at approximately 3:30 PM. Bulk was arrested on a Clay County District Court warrant for probation violation. Bulk’s bond was set at $5,000.00. Bulk was not confined at the time of this report.

Michael Agnew, 37, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 100 block of N. 4th St. on July 17, 2017 at approximately 4:25 PM. Agnew was arrested on 2 Manhattan Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear. Agnew was issued no bond, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
