Via Christi Hospital, along with Wamego Health Center and Riley and Pottawatomie County Emergency Medical Services, will host a career fair from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the hospital’s new Community room, which is located on the first floor.
The career fair is aimed at hiring clinical staff such as nurses, certified nursing assistants, respiratory therapists, EMT/paramedics, radiology technicians and laboratory personnel, as well as support staff for environmental services, facilities and maintenance, administration and clerical positions.
Representatives from Via Christi, Wamego Health Center, EMS and contract staff who work at the hospital will be on site to met interested individuals and provide information about job openings.
To access the Community Room from the hospital’s patient entrance, exit the waiting room through the open doorway turn left down the hallway and turn right at the information desk. The Community Room will be on the right, past Patient Accounts. From the Visitor Entrance, take the middle hallway and follow it down past Patient Accounts. The Community Room will be on the right.
Via Christi Hospital is a member of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and nonprofit health system. Since April 2015, Via Christi Hospital has been undergoing a $15.5 million construction project to grow service lines, expand the Outpatient Pavilion, improve patient flow and access, and provide more security and safety measures for patients and staff.
