MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Jason Winkelman, 45, of Leonardville, Kansas, was arrested in the 200 block of N. Arizona in Leonardville, Kansas, on June 20, 2017 at approximately 4:54 PM. Winkelman was arrested for driving while suspended, criminal carry of a weapon, and 2 Riley County District Court warrants for failure to appear. Winkelman’s total bond was set at $7,500.00. Wink

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 4400 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. on June 20, 2017 at approximately 5:25 PM. Officers listed Sarah Halliwell, 21, of Manhattan, as the victim, when she reported that an unknown suspect damaged a picture window of her residence. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for robbery and criminal trespass in the 100 block of E. Bluemont Ave. on June 20, 2017 at approximately 8:20 PM. Officers listed William Head, 32, of Manhattan, and Walmart, as the victims when he reported that a suspect known to him verbally threatened him and then took his phone and cigarettes. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $210.00.
Davis Broadwater, 23, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 1200 block of Claflin Rd. on June 21, 2017 at approximately 1:35 AM. Broadwater was arrested for flee and elude, DUI, reckless driving, and failure to stop at an accident. Broadwater was also arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Broadwater’s total bond was set at $8,000.00, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
