A former Riley County Police officer is being sued for allegedly raping an intoxicated woman after taking her home from a party last year.
According to a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, after taking her home, the officer tied the woman’s wrists to her bed and forced her to have sex.
The woman, identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe E.F., says she was intoxicated at the time and could not have legally consent
According to Riley County Police the officer was off-duty at the time and is no longer an employee with the department.
Because no criminal charges have been filed, we will not release the name of the former officer.
