The following summary of calls for service/reports filed by the Riley County Police Department is a portion of those received by police. MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault (domestic related), possession of methamphetamine, and possess of drug paraphernalia in the southeast part of Manhattan on May 25, 2017. Officers listed a 34 year old male as the vicitm when he reported a 41 year old male known to him pulled a knife on him. Marco Temple, 41, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 1000 block of Fremont St. on May 25, 2017 at approximately 5:00 PM. Temple was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Temple’s total bond was set at $4,000.00. Temple was not confined at the time of this report.
Edward Harrison, 30, of Junction City, Kansas, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on May 25, 2017 at approximately 11:00 PM. Harrison was arrested on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Harrison’s bond was set at $6,000.00, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault at 11th St. and Moro St. on May 26, 2017 at approximately 3:20 AM. Officers listed Bret Shoemaker, 21, of Manhattan, as the victim when he reported that a male suspect known to him brandished a gun after getting into a vehicle.
